What are the benefits of having my cooling system maintained?

  • Properly maintained equipment is more efficient and will last longer. Your HVAC system is a major investment in your home; you can save yourself thousands of dollars simply by properly maintaining your system.
  • A dirty condenser coil uses more electricity, 1/100th of an inch of dirt on your evaporator coil can reduce efficiency by 5%. Imagine what happens if the coil is extra dirty!
  • A weak capacitor can be diagnosed and replaced during routine maintenance so it doesn’t fail on that super hot summer day.
  • A cooling system that is low on refrigerant will not provide peak performance and will increase your operating costs.
