1) Do you service other brands in addition to Carrier systems?
Yes, we service almost all makes and models.
2) Is my system under warranty?
All manufacturers provide a parts warranty and most contractors provide some kind of labor warranty but the time frames can vary greatly. We would be happy to do the research and provide you with the details of your warranty.
3) Why do I need a service plan?
A well maintained system will last longer and run more efficiently. Greater efficiency equals lower utility bills. Some warranty claims can be denied if the system failed due to lack of maintenance. An Air Treatment Service Plan also comes with discounts if you do need a repair.
4) Can I just do the maintenance myself?
Yes, many homeowners do some basic maintenance on their heating and cooling systems. Changing the filter is one of the best things you can do for the system and it does not require any special tools. However, many homeowners do not have the necessary tools and knowledge to do a thorough maintenance inspection.
5) How many visits are included with a service plan?
All of our plans include two visits per year. The plans include one cooling inspection and one heating inspection.
6) Does my agreement cover things like filters and UV Lights?
We are happy to customize your service plan to meet your needs. Filters, UV lights, humidifiers and other accessories can be covered but there is an additional charge for these items.
