Have you ever noticed condensation on your air conditioning unit? If so, it is a sign that your home is now prone to water damage. Luckily, there are steps you can take to avoid this.
- Check the air conditioner condensation line for moisture. You should do this at least once a month.
- Your A/C condensation line should run straight. If this is not a possibility, try to reduce elbow connection angles as much as possible.
- When your A/C unit is on, inspect the condensation line opening. You should see water going towards the drain.
- Leaving your air conditioner line to its own devices is not a good idea. You should clean the A/C condensation line every 3-6 months.
